Hailing from Brixton and playing a fusion of nu-Afro beat and Dub, Soothsayers are fresh from releasing their latest album 'One More Reason'- a fusion of styles featuring such esteemed collaborators as Michael Prophet and Mad Professor. Inspired by ten years of Global Beets, (the 10 year anniversary party this summer), Carnivalesque will be recreating the electrifying atmosphere of World music for the people, through the international language of music & dance as it is experienced from the streets of Notting Hill, cities of Romania, to the beaches of Trinidad and all over the globe. With the use of authentic décor, the most enthralling live bands and DJ performances accompanied by more weird and wonderful fiesta capers than you can shake a saxophone at, this night is for those who appreciate the true spirit of festival. Working closely with local artists & international acts on tour with the addition of various Parade, Street, Circus and Burlesque performers in full costume will add even more to the experience, creating a true and unique carnival - esque.
